Schools in Canada Ranking and Reputation
Ivey ranked 47th in the world's top 100 business schools and #1 in Canada (Financial Times, January 2009). Criteria used in the rankings are grouped into three main areas: alumni salaries and career development (55% weighting), the diversity and international reach of the business school and its MBA program (25% weighting), and the research capabilities of each school (20% weighting)
Ivey alumni salaries and salary percentage increase continue to be the highest of all Canadian business schools (Financial Times, January 2009). The three-year average salary for Ivey is $105,272
The bi-annual Business Week survey ranked Ivey as #4 in the International ranking and #2 in the poll by recruiters. Additionally, Ivey received straight "A"s on its report card for General Management, Analysis and Careers, and scored an A+ in the Teaching category. This ranking is based on survey responses from both current graduating students and recruiters (45% weighting each) as well as the intellectual capital produced by the business schools (10%)
